Lunchtime Program Earns 1.0 CLE Ethic Credit
A CLE presentation developed by the NH Lawyers Assistance Program has been approved by the NHBA for an hour of Mandatory CLE Ethics credit. The presentation, " Ethical Obligations and the Problem of Lawyer Impairment” includes a discussion of professional responsibility obligations when it is suspected that a colleague is impaired in his or her ability to practice law, and addresses the neurobiological bases of addiction and depression. Nationally, lawyers experience substance abuse and depression at twice the numbers of the general public. The CLE addresses these diseases, their affect on a lawyer's ability to function, and how the New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance program can provide to you and the firm with help on these difficult issues.
If you would like to present this CLE at your firm, please contact:
Cecie Hartigan, NHLAP, at 603-545-8967 or 877-224-6060
