NHLAP Commission

NHLAP provides support and guidance to lawyers, judges, and law students who experience problems resulting from illness, substance abuse, mental health issues,  age, or other causes, that may impair the ability to practice in a competent and professional manner. Help varies with an individual’s needs and circumstances, but ranges from information and exploring the options available, to consultation,  referral, and ongoing assistance. In addition, NHLAP provides education to the bench and bar on relevant issues.

The purpose of the NHLAP Commission is to guide the development of NHLAP programs and initiatives.

The NHLAP Commission is a volunteer organization appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
