David C. Tencza, Esq.

Attorney David Tencza is an attorney with Welts, White & Fontaine in Nashua where he concentrates in crimial and family law. He previously ran his own law practice, the Law Office of David C. Tencza, in Nashua. Prior to opening his own office, he served as a felony prosecutor for the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office. While working as a prosecutor, he was trained in the criminal Drug Court model, emphasizing community-based services, counseling and medically assisted treatment rather than incarceration for those nonviolent felony offenders struggling with the disease of addiction. Attorney Tencza earned his BA from Saint Anslem's College and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

Attorney Tencza volunteers his time generously for community service works. He is a past member of the New Hampshire Board of Governors for the New Hampshire Bar Association. He is also a graduate of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Leadership Academy. He currently serves as Chair for his political party's local city committee and serves as a volunteer coach for several youth sports teams. Attorney Tencza was appointed by the NH Supreme Court to the NHLAP Commission in 2016 and was reappointed in 2018.
